LOS ANGELES and BASKING RIDGE, NJ — E! Entertainment, the top destination for entertainment and pop culture fans, and Verizon Wireless, the nation’s leading wireless service provider, announced today the launch of the E! video channel on the Verizon Hub. Available now from Verizon Wireless, the Verizon Hub is an easy-to-use system that puts a communications command center in the home. It bridges wireline and wireless connectivity and runs on any broadband connection – whether supplied by Verizon (FiOS Internet or DSL) or any other high-speed Internet service provider.
The Verizon Hub gives busy families information at their fingertips from an easy-to-navigate touch screen with on-demand access to an array of services. Program offerings on the E! video channel include daily segments from the network’s popular franchises “E! News,” “Daily 10” and “The Soup.”
“We are excited to expand our relationship with Verizon Wireless to bring E!’s popular programming to Verizon Hub customers,” said John Najarian, executive vice president of digital media and business development for Comcast Entertainment Group. “In addition to our E! channel on Verizon Wireless’ V CAST service, the Verizon Hub offers fans another great way to keep up with the latest celebrity news and entertainment.”
“Being able to deliver exciting entertainment content from partners like E! Entertainment on the Verizon Hub helps us keep our customers informed and entertained whether in the home or on-the-go,” said Mike Lanman, vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless.
