LACRESCENT, MN — Verizon Wireless, the wireless company with the highest customer loyalty, has activated a new cell site near LaCrescent, which will enable more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive e-mail and text, picture and video messages; access the Internet; view high-quality videos; and download music, games and ringtones, while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.

The new cell site improves coverage within the town of LaCrescent and also improves coverage as follows:

• North on State Highway 14 and U.S. Highway 61 to Interstate 90;
• South on State Highway 16 to the junction with State Highway 26;
• East on State Highway 14 to South Pettibone Drive;
• West on County Road 6 to Town Hall Road.

This new cell site is part of Verizon Wireless’ continual effort to expand coverage, increase capacity and enhance the quality of its wireless voice and data network in Minnesota and throughout the country. Verizon Wireless has invested more than $50 billion since it was formed—$5.5 billion on average every year—to increase the coverage and capacity of its premier nationwide network and to add new services.
