BASKING RIDGE, NJ — This year, give a gift that will spread cheer long after the holiday decorations have been taken down: Network Extender from Verizon Wireless. The “mini-cell site” is:

• Easy to wrap – it’s the size of a medium-sized ladies’ purse (7.8” x 5.8” x 2.1”)
• Easy to set up and use right out of the box – in a matter of minutes, the wireless signal inside any home can be enhanced
• Easy to find – Network Extender is available at Verizon Wireless Communications Stores or online at www.verizonwireless.com/networkextender
• Easier than ever to afford – now through Jan. 29, Network Extender is available for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate

Network Extender routes Verizon Wireless calls through a home broadband Internet connection, improving indoor coverage in an area of up to 5,000 square feet. Network Extender is ideal for customers who could use the gift of enhanced wireless signal when they make voice calls, send text/picture/video messages, access Mobile Web, or access smartphone/BlackBerry® data in houses with structural barriers or basement rooms or some remote, mountainous or hilly areas. Network Extender also can provide improved network access for customers living on the geographical fringes of the Verizon Wireless network.*

Customers, their Family SharePlan® members and other Verizon Wireless customers can use their current phones and calling plans to place calls using the Network Extender. Customers also can manage access to their Network Extender through the account management feature on their My Verizon online account.

Verizon Wireless’ Network Extender is available for $199.99, plus local taxes, after the mail-in rebate. Customers will receive the rebate in the form of a debit card; upon receipt, customers may use the card as cash anywhere debit cards are accepted. Customers do not need to update their plans or add minutes and will incur no additional monthly charges for calls using Network Extender.
