Verizon Wireless test men and test women, the largest team of systems performance engineers deployed by a U.S. wireless service company, took to the nation’s roads using sophisticated testing equipment in specially designed company vehicles. Throughout 2011, they conducted more than 3 million voice call attempts and more than 12 million data tests on the Verizon Wireless network and the networks of major competitors across the United States.

Verizon Wireless is dedicated to staying ahead of customers’ wireless needs and expectations through network performance measurement and competitor benchmarking. Data collected by Verizon Wireless test men and test women helps the company direct its multi-billion dollar network capital expenditure program for maintaining and planning improvements and expansions of the company’s network.
