This week, the world’s first 4G LTE-enabled camera, the Samsung Galaxy Camera, was introduced on the nation’s largest 4G LTE network. Several outlets have been buzzing about this one-of-a-kind device, and here’s a look at they had to say.

Android Community called the Galaxy Camera a truly connected and ultra-fast smart camera, praising its social media functions enhanced by the speed of Verizon Wireless’ 4G LTE network.

The device’s camera capabilities were of interest to LAPTOP, which remarked on its 16-megapixel lens sensor, 21x optical zoom and ability to capture 1080p video at an impressive 30 frames per second.

The advanced 4.8-inch HD Super Clear LCD touch screen drew attention from TechCrunch, which also favored the Galaxy Camera’s Android home screen.

SlashGear liked the Verizon Wireless-exclusive Cobalt Black color, and noted that the point-and-shoot camera combined with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean created one great hybrid device, and a whole new category of devices.
